By applying our research and developing AI Solutions we bring tangible transformation into global enterprises, that is the way to earn your stripes and finally with AI Philanthropy we return our learning back to the society.
Firstly, We foresee a huge shortage of relevant skills in the next 5 years. This situation is to worsen as at one end there are enterprises screaming for help and are unable to compete with the internet giants like Google, Amazon, Facebook etc.

These internet companies became giants as they deployed a centralized system and amass huge amounts of data into their “siren servers”. People don’t necessarily want to be there but they have to because they fear of losing out. This leaves enterprises data and deep learning skills poor.
Very poor!

Second: Fortunately, the world is full of tremendous potential.
Extremely rich, actually! We have been experiencing this first hand when training people across the world in Deep Learning and AI both in enterprises and in bootcamps where smart young people from war torn areas developed computer vision and text ML apps.

Ms. Jie Mei is a PhD Computational Neuroscience Researcher completing her PhD from the globally reputed medical college Charité – Universitätsmedizin, Berlin Germany. Dr. Chris Dinant is Head of the Light Microscopy at the Danish Cancer Society Research Center and also Member of the steering committee of the Danish BioImaging Network.

Chris is an experienced Deep Learning Researcher and participates in various Healthcare and other industrial projects within deepkapha.ai.

Chris has a MS from University Amsterdam and PhD in Genetics and Cell Biology from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.

Aditi Mukhopadhyay, PhD

Dr. Aditi is a Theoretical Partical Physics PhD with interdisciplinary research experience in large data set analysis, data management, data processing, and Monte Carlo simulations. She has strong analytical and quantitative skills and adept in problem solving, trouble shooting, and fitting data while being detail oriented and systematic.

As VAIR within deepkapha.ai , Aditi supervises internships and participates in groundbreaking deep learning research projects.

Dr. Aashita Kesarwani is a PhD Mathematics from Tulane University, USA with Dissertation in “Theory of the generalized modified Bessel function K_{z,w}(x) and 2-adic valuations of integer sequences”, she is MS Applied Math from IIT Roorkee.

Aashita participates in various research projects and also supervises various deep learning internships within deepkapha.ai.

Dr. Martijn Van Attekum is a MD (Oncologist) and PhD and currently Post Doctoral Candidate at University of Cologne, Germany. –Main responsibilities in this position. He is an experienced team leader and is skilled in
1) Performed computational analysis of RNA-seq data (differential genes, pathways) and identified lead targets for drug discovery 2) Performed computational analysis of genome seq data (amplification structure, mutation calling) and established a differential genome structure that predicts drug response.

He is experienced deep learning computational biologist engineer as well and participates in ground-breaking deep learning medical projects within deepkapha.ai

Dr. Bilgraer is a PhD in Biomedical Science from Université Paris Descarte. He enjoys specifically skilled in Design of experiments (DoE), Computational methods and Machine Learning algorithms for data mining of large -omic datasets  as well as Biomarkers discovery and validation.

Raphael is an experienced deep learning medical professional and is currently working on research project with deepkapha.ai to solve the prediction of drug discovery in Cancer using Deep Learning.

Dr. Tannistha Maiti is a PhD Geophysics and Seismology from University of Calgary with thesis “Thesis: “Structure of the continental Moho and Lithosphere-Asthenosphere Boundary:
Insights from receiver-function analysis and numerical modelling”” and MS from IIT Kharaghpur in Exploration Geophysics.

Tannistha participates in various research projects and supervises several deep learning internships within deepkapha.ai.

Marvin Chancán is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science with the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision at Queensland University of Technology.

His research is at the interface of Computational Neuroscience, Computer Vision, and Robotics. Developing neuroscience-inspired learning algorithms for solving fundamental (e.g. similarity search) and applied (e.g. autonomous navigation) machine learning problems.

Marvin holds a BS in Mechatronics Engineering (1st in class), a Master in Mechanical Engineering, and an MBA in Project Management. He also worked as a Solutions Architect of high-performance computing clusters (2016-2018), and Mechatronics Engineer in the automation industry (2012-2015).

At deepkapha.ai he conducts research at the intersection of deep learning and neuroscience.

Babak is Machine Learning and Medical Image Analysis PhD from Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

His focused on developing machine learning and image analysis techniques for the automated detection and characterization of breast cancer in digital pathology images.

He was the lead organizer of the world renowned  successful grand challenge CAMELYON16.He developed the first whole-slide-standardization algorithm available published in IEEE TMI, further he developed a pattern recognition technique for detecting ductal carcinoma in situ in breast tissue and I developed a Deep Learning model to analyze breast cancer stroma as a diagnostic tool.

His role is to supervise various VAIR projects and occasionally offer advise into deepkapha.ai’s key research projects.

Dr. Srikanth Ramaswamy

Sri is a Neuroscientist and completed his PhD. from the world famous Ecole Polytechnique EPFL Lausanne which raised €1Bn for the Blue Brain Project in Switzerland.

His thesis was undertaken within the Blue Brain Project, an unprecedented endeavour to foster a global facility for simulation based research in neuroscience. The thesis focused on the statistical analysis of the anatomical and physiological properties of in silico synaptic transmission in a biologically detailed model of the juvenile rat neocortical column.

Sri is currently participating in an internal deepkapha.ai project idea to develop a NeuroDL Model to help revolutionise the Deep Learning Industry by using biologically plausible data-driven models.
